Characters

IQ-4U is a warm, kind, gently musical robot teacher who guides the Classtronauts through each mission; she is calm, nurturing, and encouraging, with a subtle sense of wonder and curiosity; seeking a grounded, natural performance with clarity and warmth – avoid robotic or synthetic reads; accent is neutral to light British; she’s a synthetic Mary Poppins type, ready to teach and break out into song; actors who feel a strong connection to this character are encouraged to submit.

Theo is curious, adventurous, and always eager to explore – he jumps in first and figures things out along the way; seeking a natural, grounded child performance with real energy and curiosity, not an exaggerated “cartoon kid” voice; accent is North American (neutral). Adult actors should keep the performance authentic and not overly “young”; actors who feel a strong connection to this character are encouraged to submit.

Mia is expressive, confident, and full of ideas, with a love of building, experimenting, and creative problem-solving; seeking a playful, grounded performance with a natural, authentic Mexican accent (subtle, not exaggerated); she should feel independent and real, not performative; actors with authentic cultural or regional backgrounds aligned with the character are especially encouraged to submit.

Ila is thoughtful, curious, and precise, approaching problems with calm focus and intelligence; seeking a grounded, natural performance with quiet confidence – smart, but still very much a child; accent is Indian (authentic and natural); avoid stereotype or over-performance; actors with authentic cultural or regional backgrounds aligned with the character are especially encouraged to submit.

Kofi is kind, warm, and empathetic, often helping bring the group together and supporting others; seeking a gentle, grounded performance with strong emotional warmth and sincerity; accent is West African (authentic; region flexible); natural speech patterns are more important than specificity; actors with authentic cultural or regional backgrounds aligned with the character are especially encouraged to submit.

Jin is smart, resourceful, and quick-thinking, always looking for how things work and how to solve problems efficiently; seeking a focused, grounded performance that feels capable and real, not stereotyped or exaggerated; accent is Chinese (natural influence, subtle); actors with authentic cultural or regional backgrounds aligned with the character are especially encouraged to submit.

Rikki is playful, energetic, and a little wild, bringing big personality and spontaneity to the group; seeking a high-energy but grounded performance – fun and impulsive without shouting or pushing too hard; accent is Australian (authentic); the performance should feel real and connected, not cartoonish; actors with authentic cultural or regional backgrounds aligned with the character are especially encouraged to submit.

Zibu is a curious alien experiencing everything for the first time, seeing the world from a slightly different perspective that brings both humor and insight; seeking a grounded, natural child performance – kid first, alien second – with a slightly unique rhythm or phrasing that remains clear and understandable; accent is open/flexible; actors who feel a strong connection to this character are encouraged to submit.

Buzbi is a warm, friendly, and delightfully wacky companion who brings humor and heart to every moment, always ready with a perfectly timed (and wonderfully cheesy) dad joke. Accent is English – General.

Eggie is a gentle, slightly older guide with a calm presence and a soft sense of humor, offering reassurance and perspective; seeking a warm, steady, and thoughtful performance with comfortable pacing and subtle charm; accent is open/neutral; avoid overacting – this role lives in quiet confidence; actors who feel a strong connection to this character are encouraged to submit. Accent is English – General.
